Arlington, Texas announced as host for VNL 2025

Olympic silver medalists, Team USA, among the top teams who will be looking to clinch a spot on the podium

The world’s premier volleyball competition is making its return to Arlington with the city confirmed to host a leg of the Volleyball Nations League (VNL) 2025.

From 9-13 July 2025, fans from across the globe will gather to witness the pinnacle of volleyball action at the state-of-the-art College Park Center, a proven hub for VNL action which hosted the finals of the 2023 edition and a preliminary phase of the 2024 edition.

This exciting event will feature the world’s top women’s volleyball teams, including the reigning Olympic silver medalists, Team USA. After losing out in the quarterfinals of the VNL 2024 edition to the eventual winners, Italy, the USA squad will be as determined as ever to clinch a spot on the podium on home soil.

Finn Taylor, CEO of Volleyball World, shared his excitement, stating, “We are thrilled to be returning to Arlington for the VNL 2025. This city has proven itself as an exceptional host of world-class volleyball, and its large community of passionate volleyball fans will ensure an electric atmosphere for our athletes next July! The VNL has seen some exciting changes to its structure since the last edition, and I am excited to see this play out as the teams compete in the USA and beyond.”

About the Volleyball Nations League

The Volleyball Nations League is the premier annual global volleyball competition, bringing together the best teams and players from around the world. With 18 teams per gender set to compete starting in 2025, the VNL promises to deliver unforgettable moments of athleticism and competition. Each team will play 12 matches across three weeks of exhilarating action, with six teams competing in three different pools each week.

College Park Center (CPC) is a 7,000-seat multipurpose arena which opened in 2012 on the campus of the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA). It is the home court for the Dallas Wings of the WNBA, the UTA basketball and volleyball programs, and offers professional class training facilities. In addition, CPC is host to concerts, professional wrestling and boxing, world-renowned speaker events, graduation ceremonies, banquets, various local education events and more, in total averaging over 140 events per year.
